Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything from NASA and the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of Space Tourism. Being the child of two NASA astronauts, Kristin grew up in the space industry and spent the last five years covering the Biden and Trump Administration's space policies as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. As she covered the impeachment trials of two presidents as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign and the two administrations' attempts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Using her skills in front of the camera Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company was a specialist in documentary style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their three-year-old daughter.
